Thanks to the awesome for drawing this request for me (and whomever) to color! A while ago I described a very specific Harry Potter scene to her because I thought the character on the left, Rita Skeeter, would be cool to see drawn like this. But why not add more fun characters, I thought? So I thought of this scene from Order of the Phoenix which would include more characters I liked and it would tell a story, too. I really didn't think she would draw it, or at least not as detailed as I described. So I was quite surprised to see this in my deviant watch messages!

This is Harry, quite depressed after his tea party disaster with Cho Chang, meeting Hermione in the Three Broomsticks. With Hermione are Rita Skeeter and Luna Lovegood. Hermione is blackmailing Rita Skeeter into writing a story about the truth of Voldemort's return which will be published in The Quibbler, which is run by Luna's father. If Rita Skeeter says no, then Hermione will tell everyone that Rita is an unregistered Animagus. Rita promised no more scandalous stories for a year or Hermione would tell everyone (why only a year?) and Hermione needed a true story published, so she tweaked her hold on Rita to get what she wanted. Go Hermione!

I also had to tweak this picture after being scanned. I ever so slightly made it darker because the windows did not show the details I colored and it looked like Hermione's hair was on fire instead of reflecting in the window. It still isn't showing the way it should!

I also added a bottle of Firewhiskey, two cocktail glasses, and an acid green quill.

And Harry kind of looks Asian. I thought that color would be kind of different. He could just be Harry's relative, Harry Pong.

Colored with Prismacolor markers, Promarker markers, and a Copic blender was used.
